It seems that all of my favorite products over the years have completely disappeared!  I went to Walgreen's this evening to see if they had my usual Dove moisturizing spray that I like to use after I wash my hair because Walmart hasn't been carrying it for awhile now.  Well.. they didn't have it either.  So now what am I supposed to do?!  I've been using that stuff for YEARS!

So, this is the latest product of mine that has disappeared from store shelves.  I love how this makes my hair feel since I have such thick, coarse hair.  I spray it while my hair is wet and then it's soooo soft after I blow dry it.

  Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight - I used this when I straightened my hair.  I don't believe it was a thermal protectant but I remember how shiny & smooth my hair felt after I was finished with the flat iron.  I liked it because I had tried so many other straightening products (I have crazy hair that doesn't do anything unless I straighten it) and this didn't feel greasy or weigh my hair down.  I miss this stuff so much!

I'm an avid user of the gradual tanning lotions, like Jergen's or Olay but the Vaseline Healthy Body Glow has been my favorite by far.  It gave me the best color out of any of the lotions I've tried, didn't have a horrible smell and wasn't orange-y. Unfortunately, this is another product that has completely disappeared.  I've been able to find it in select ShopKo stores in my hometown but other than that, it doesn't exist anymore (unless I buy it online off Amazon). 

I used this shampoo in high school and loved it.  I haven't seen this around in about 4 years now and really miss it!  I have yet to find a moisturizing shampoo that doesn't make my hair greasy other than this kind.

For most of my life, everyone has mistaken me for being a good 2-3 years older than I actually am.  I hit puberty pretty early & also started wearing a lot of make-up, highlighting my hair, etc. while I was in middle school.  Up until just recently, this past summer actually, some people I have met now think that I am 2-3 years YOUNGER than I actually am?!  I am not sure how/when this changed but I am almost 21, I don't want people to keep thinking I'm only 18.  I'm halfway through my third year of college and I feel like I've put too much work into getting where I am right now for people to only think I'm 18.  They are actually shocked when I tell them that I'm 20 and a junior in college.  Ridiculous. 

I'm starting to look at graduate schools right now even though I don't graduate for another year & a half.  If I look so young, I don't want people to doubt my ability within grad school.  I've never asked these people why they think I look so young so I don't know what is giving them that impression.  It could possibly be how I do my make-up.  I've been doing the only thing I've known how to do since high school and I haven't changed my make-up along with my age. 

Ugh, it's just so frustrating!  Especially when I've always looked so much older.  But, I bet if I were 40, I would be taking this as a compliment & not an insult.
